Natis products combine powerful computer processing with the ability to provide extremely flexible communications across any suitable network. Our products can be deployed for many different applications in all types of utility networks. They are designed to be extremely robust and can support high levels of encryption for complete cyber security.
Our products provide the ability to monitor, manage and control all types of remote network devices including pumps and valves, meters of multiple types, sensors, fault indicators and leak detectors. Many applications can be supported such as the carrying of two-way SCADA traffic, meter backhaul traffic, energy management systems and video images for site security. We can support many different communication protocols using TCP/IP or serial radio. Through the use of the data processing power and the substantial local storage capability, full asset management of the many elements of utility networks can be provided.
When installed on an element within a network, our products can also be used to carry traffic from other nearby devices such as fault indicators, pressure and flow meters, leak detectors and capacitor controls, thereby enhancing the degree of automation within the utility without additional capital cost.
For all implementations, full event data logging is possible, even with high rates of polling. In addition, the products can be configured to support report by exception and unsolicited response.
In all utility industries today, there is a growing need for greater control and management of network assets in order to improve economic performance and overall efficiency, as well as an increasing need for data relating to both physical and cyber security. Using the Natis products both of these needs can be met cost effectively and with minimum disruption to existing systems and processes.
